I tried CBD and here’s what happened…Series

So, as you may have read in earlier posts which you can both of them here, HERE Part One  and here HERE Part Two .

I decided to make this a series due to the fact I will be reviewing many more CBD products very soon.

I was contacted by a company called CBD Genesis and they offered to send me some product samples to review. They are going to send me a box of samples which I will be doing an unboxing on YouTube, which I will of course post here, so that you can get an idea of what will be reviewed and browse their site while I am working on the review and get an idea of what products they have prior to seeing it.

There will be two separate videos and of course, a blog post review! Continue reading “I tried CBD and here’s what happened…Series”

When life gives you lemons…

So, I’ll be totally honest because that’s how I roll…I hate crowdfunding campaigns. Not for others, but for myself. I feel like I am asking for handouts. I pride myself on working for what I have and working hard, but sometimes life hands you lemons and sometimes you need a bit of help squeezing those lemons into lemonade.

As some of you may know, my husband and I are full-time rv-ers. We love our rv life, but its had its challenges. We are learning along the way and unfortunately, not totally prepared, but nothing worth having comes easy, right?

3 Herbs You Need to Know About

Most of us have heard of using herbs to help with ailments, but have you actually tried any of them?

Well, you may be using them every day and not even realizing their health benefits.

Herbs and spices like cinnamon, oregano, and basil are used daily by a lot of households and their health benefits are quite often overlooked because we use them, most of the time, for seasoning our foods, but there are other herbs that are quite fantastic and I want to focus on three for a reason I have talked about quite a bit on my blog.

Insomnia and anxiety-my two greatest foes! Continue reading “3 Herbs You Need to Know About”

#metoo is not just a bandwagon fad

After watching the GG’s, I am on board with the #metoo thing. I wasn’t before, I’ll be honest. I found it hard to accept that people were jumping on the activist train because I thought it was just another hashtag to show the support you don’t actually believe in, but after the GG, I can finally admit to myself and others, that I am survivor of sexual harassment and assault.

This isn’t a shock or a reason to send me an “I’m sorry”. Not because I don’t appreciate it, but because it’s happening and has happened.

“1 out of every 6 American women have been the victim of an assault in some form. 99% of perpetrators of sexual violence will walk free. 13% of survivors will attempt suicide. 64% of trans people will experience sexual violence in their lifetime. 90% of rape victims are female.”

It’s scary, but empowering and it’s shocking that it’s taking Hollywood women for us to come forward and fight, but thank you to all of them. For they are why we are fighting and finding the voice to stand up and say #metoo.

Sleep is for the weak?

Well, its kind of true, but let me rephrase that…Lack of sleep is for the weak.

Yes, that’s better. Lack of sleep WILL make you weak in every way.

We’ve all been there-we stayed out late, had a little too much coffee, or just couldn’t sleep and begged our brains to let us go to bed, but it wasn’t happening…then we wake up, feeling totally exhausted and discouraged because we have jobs to go to, families to take care of or just basic responsibilities and facing those things after a night of no sleep, is absolutely overwhelming.

For years, I have suffered with insomnia. I tried the prescription stuff and I don’t even want to mention the terrible side effects such as hallucinations! No thanks, next…
