Cannatera Ageless CBD Skin Care Line Review and Savings

CBD is being used in skin care more and more as CBD becomes more popular for health.

It’s easy to understand why CBD benefits those with conditions such as pain and anxiety, but does it really do anything for the skin when applied topically?

The Science

From a study published in 2014, CBD has been shown to be helpful for inflammation of the skin, especially for issues concerning acne. It’s been studied and shown to be helpful in the fight against infections and this is especially useful for the face.

Personally, I have very acne prone skin, so I am pretty picky on what I put on my skin. I can put a dab of sunscreen or foundation on and nearly instantly break out. I will say this, in my personal experience, since using CBD on the face, my skin acne and irritation has reduced significantly. Keep in mind, not every experience is the same.

CBD is helpful for redness, irritation, and acne as well as soothing dry skin and many companies out there have come out with CBD skin care to fight these issues and help consumers know the benefits of CBD for the skin.

The Company:

Usually, I will put some quick company facts down, but I didn’t see a whole of info on their website. I also went to their Facebook page and there wasn’t a lot of info there except a phone number and a few ways to contact them.

I did find out they are located in Ontario, CA and started in 2018, but again, not much other information. I did contact them on Facebook asking for information and again, I was only given the location and when they were formed. I really expected more information, since as blogger, I am putting info out there about them to review and promote their product, but they didn’t respond with anymore info than that, so I don’t have much else to give you.

I also was very interested to see any info on how each product is made, lab results if necessary, where the CBD comes from and honestly anything else I could find on the company, but I didn’t see anything and this concerned me a bit. I like to know where my products ingredients are sourced from, about the company in detail, if they involved in any charitable donations and similar and I didn’t find this information. Something to keep in mind when reading about any products you buy, CBD or not.

The Review

I got the chance to try a skin care line from Cannatera via Reef CBD and it’s quite something. They use CBD in the products to heal skin and regenerate skin for a glowing result.

The fatty acids and vitamins A, C and E in these products are extremely beneficial to skin by helping collagen production, fighting free-radicals and helping with anti-aging and fighting against pollution.

Refresh:

The CBD enriched cleansing gel is fortified with apple extract-rich in astringent properties to help thoroughly cleanse skin, calendula flower-widely known for its soothing properties, peony root-helps to soften skin and improve overall clarity, and of course CBD-rich in fatty acids that is believed to relive dry, irritated skin.

This cleanser is a gel, which feels lovely on the skin and cleanses without over-drying. It doesn’t take a lot to thoroughly cleanse the skin and even takes off makeup quite well. One pump of this cleanser gel produces a lather and cleans thoroughly and it doesn’t give you that dry, tight feeling either.

A 4oz bottle is $39.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water, Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Glycerin, Cocamide MIPA, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Capryloyl/Caproyl Methyl Glucamide, Lauroyl/Myristoyl/Methyl Glucamide, Cannabidoil (CBD) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender Oil), Citrus Sinensis (Orange) Oil*, Bromelain, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Paeonia Albiflora (Peony) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis, Callus Culture Extract, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Cannabis Sativa Seed Extract, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Glycerin, Polysorbate 20, Retinyl Palmitate, Reservatrol Phospholipid, Polyquaternium 7, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Renew:

A follow up to the cleaner is the CBD rich moisturizer. It’s a soft, soothing moisturizer that doesn’t feel heavy or sticky. It helps to revitalize and fight breakouts naturally with hempseed, carrot, sunflower and pomegranate oils. It also includes shea and avocado for natural moisture. CBD within this moisturizer combines with lavender and peony which helps fight against inflammation, pollution and also helps prevent future skin issues such as breakouts.

Revive:

Lastly, using the CBD revitalizing facial serum helps fight signs of aging using hyaluronic acid and resveratrol (which protects against stress) and helps fight sun damage. This serum is great for acne prone skin and helps prevent it as well.

These products are quite awesome and they have kept my skin not only moisturized and smooth, but clear and bright as well and I love how such a little amount goes such a long way when using it, making it much more affordable in the long run.

Conclusion:

I’ve used these products for quite a while now so that I could get a good idea of how it works and if it actually does what it says and I can honestly say these products are quality CBD skincare products.

All three products do have some great ingredients and the ingredients listed that are not considered “natural”, are between a level 1-2 on the hazard scale on the Skin Deep website, meaning they have a very low toxicity rating with limited knowledge of the ingredient. If you are concerned about any ingredients, please do your research prior to using.
