AndHemp tincture, muscle gel and lip balm review

There are so many CBD brands out there and it’s hard to figure out which ones to choose. That’s why I am here to give you the best information out there through honest reviews.

I don’t normally do reviews where I find nothing wrong with a product. Every so often, a product comes along that totally blows me away with effectiveness, ingredients, customer service and flavor.

AndHemp.com is the company I got the chance to review with tinctures and lip balm.

AndHemp is a company from Ireland that provides a wide variety of CBD products to customers, from reputable companies I’ve done reviews on, such as Koi, Reef, Savage and Cannatera.

I got to try three different methods:

  • Tinctures: Peppermint, Orange and Natural
  • Lip Balm
  • Topical: Muscle Gel

Furthermore, they have a lavender body lotion, strawberry tincture, gummies and a topical relief spray, so there’s pretty much something for everyone no matter what method you choose.

A little about AndHemp:

  • Located in Northern Ireland
  • Made from THC Free Broad Spectrum Distillate
  • Grown, Harvested and Tested in the USA
  • Strengths Available: 500mg, 1000mg
  • Lab results for products available online.
  • Available on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube.

The Review:

Tinctures:

Ingredients:

Premium Hemp Seed Oil, Proprietary Blend Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Flavored Essential Oils, Stevia Extract.

These 500mg tinctures are awesome. I love that they have few ingredients, natural ingredients and taste quite fantastic! I used them all and if I had to choose, I would say orange is my favorite.

Citrus flavors are a favorite of mine and this oil is easy to swallow. I used the 500mg twice a day and received relief from both anxiety and pain that I suffer from.

More so, there was no need to chase this oil with water as I usually do with some tinctures. The flavor is a very lightly sweet, citrus flavor.

The peppermint is a fresh minty flavor, easy to swallow and wonderful effects on anxiety and pain as I mentioned. I also took it on a day I was feeling a bit nauseous due to a medication I was on and it helped with that as well. Peppermint is excellent for digestion and calming a sour stomach.

The natural is just that, natural. It’s an unflavored tincture that is very easy to swallow and doesn’t give off a strong, herbal flavor as some tinctures do.

Each 500mg bottle gives you 16.6 MG of CBD per 1ml. Suggested use is 1/2ml (1/2 dropper) and see how that feels, working your way up to one ml if necessary. I used 1ml a day and felt good effects, working my way up to two ml a day.

Take note, less is more. Always start with the lowest dose and see how that affects you.

500mg is $59.99

AndHemp also offers these tinctures in 1000mg for $99.99

Lip Balm:

This lip balm is by far my favorite lip balm right now.

I use lip balms pretty much everyday and typically I like lip balms I make myself or lip balms that have very few and/or natural ingredients. This lip balm is super moisturizing and gives my lips a light, cooling effect.

My lips are soft, smooth and minty, plus I am getting some CBD while I’m caring for my lips.

The lip balm is .15ml and only $4.99. I think I’ll be stocking up on this in the near future!

Ingredients:

Helianthus Annus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Beeswax Butyrospermum Parkii (Organic Shea Butter) D-Alpha Tocopheroyl Acetate, Mentha Piperita (Organic Peppermint) Oil, Aloe Leaf Juice (Organic) Naturally Occurring Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oil.

D-Alpha Tocopheroyl Acetate is a stabilized form of Vitamin E, commonly used as a food additive.

Muscle Gel:

The muscle gel is 150mg and packed with ingredients that are known for helping soothe sore muscles and aches such as black pepper oil, white camphor, and cinnamon leaf.

As a  huge fan of aromatherapy and a student who is going to school to become a certified aromatherapist, I believe in the healthy benefits of essential oils. Finding a topical that is not only effective, but uses essential oils to help with pain is something I am very excited about.

I love the scent of this gel. It has a really lovely smell with the essential oils.

Also, upon application, it gave my skin a cooling effect which helped soothe my achy muscles.

The gel dries super quickly which I loved, I didn’t have to wait for it to dry on my skin before dressing.

The muscle gel is 2oz for $34.99

This gel is made perfectly in my opinion and I really can’t say anything I don’t like about it.

Ingredients:

Organic Aloe Leaf Juice (Aloe Barbadensis), Meadow Foam Seed Oil (Limnaanthes Alba), Menthol Crystals, Capsicum Fruit Oleoresin (Capsicum Annuum), White Camphor Bark Oil (Cinnamomum Camphora), Sweet Basil Leaf Oil (Ocimum Basilicum), Black Pepper Oil (Piper Nigrum), Roman Chamomile Flower Oil (Anthemis Nobilis), German Chamomile Flower Oil (Chamomilla Recutita), Cinnamon Leaf Oil (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum), Citronella oil (Cymbopogon Winterianus), Eucalyptus Leaf Oil (Eucalyptus Globulus), Helichrysum Flower Oil (Helichrysum Italicum), Ginger Root Oil (Zingiber O cinale), Pink Grapefruit Peel Oil (Citrus Paradisi), Juniper Berry Oil (Juniperus Communis), Lemon Grass Oil (Cymbopogan Flexuosus), Peppermint Oil (Mentha Piperita), Pine Needle Oil (Pinus Sylvestris), Ravensara Oil (Ravensara Aromatica), Rosemary Leaf Oil (Rosmarinus O cinalis), Spearmint Oil (Mentha Spicata), Wild Oregano Oil (Origanum Vulgare), Glycerin Witch Hazel Water (Hamamelis Virginiana), Organic Alcohol Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Tetrasodium Glutamate Dictate, Naturally Occurring Full Spectrum Hemp Extract Oil.

All of these products are awesome. I would absolutely buy these again and continue to use them.

I have to give these products a five leaf score!

Pros:

  • Great ingredients
  • Great flavors
  • Lab tested.
  • Lab results available on the website
  • Hemp used in these is grown, harvested and tested in the US.

Cons:

  • This is listed here because I know price may be a factor when buying CBD.
  • You may think the prices are high, but keep in mind what you are buying when purchasing CBD such as ingredients.
  • Chemicals are not something I want in my tinctures and these have none, so in my opinion, these are absolutely worth the price. Also, they are really effective.

As always, do your research. Read reviews. Contact companies and interact with others who have tried CBD as to what their favorites are and why.

Until next time,
