The hemp infused skin care you need in your regimen.

Hemp is being infused into so many things these days and the benefits of hemp are finally being understood by many. So, what’s the hype with hemp for skin care?

Hemp is beneficial for many things including moisturizing the skin, combatting fine lines and wrinkles, for its anti-inflammatory properties and even helps fights acne. I’ve used hemp oil as a carrier oil for years and love to use it on my skin because it doesn’t cause breakouts on my sensitive, acne-prone skin. It also doesn’t feel super greasy on my skin, which I love. I got a chance to try a hemp infused skin care line by The Gold Q and am pretty impressed by how these products work for my skin.

From this line, I used the Q Wellness System Box which includes the topical lotion, the face serum, the duo eye cream and the hand cream.

I am always a bit concerned using new skin care products due to my sensitive skin. I am acne prone and if I don’t choose a safe and more natural product, then I will break out as if I were a teenager again. The nice things about these products are the natural ingredients such as organic aloe, Calendula and lavender. It also has other ingredients such as MSM, hyaluronic acid and primrose, all known for their anti-aging properties on the skin.

As far as anti-aging goes, for me it’s more about prevention. I don’t have many fine lines or wrinkles yet, but they are starting to appear around my eyes and on my forehead. Fortunately, I always used sun screen and moisturized daily, something my mom taught me, but only in the last year or so did I discover how night creams and eye creams may benefit my skin for prevention of lines and wrinkles.

My first impression of these products when opening the bottles was the scent. It’s a light citrus scent and really nice. It’s not a perfumed scent, but a natural lemon scent. These products contain organic lemon oil, which not only smells amazing, but also brightens dull skin and provides astringent or cleansing properties.

The face serum and eye cream are my favorites of this line. They go on smoothly, don’t leave a greasy feel and I saw a major difference in my skin’s dryness, which I need in the hot Florida weather. I also see that my skin just generally looks less tired and not quite as blotchy as before using. I have always had uneven skin tone and I did see a difference in the tone and texture of my skin. I can’t say I saw a big different in wrinkles, because as I stated, I don’t have many, but I am hoping with continued use, I can prevent some from happening at all. I also saw that my eyes appeared less puffy when using the eye cream. My face and skin always look so tired in the morning and it usually takes quite a lot for my skin to settle down after waking up. The eye cream seemed to help with that tired, sleepy look around the eyes.

The hand cream and topical lotion go on smoothly and left my skin super soft. The hand cream didn’t go on oily or leave me needing to wipe my hands after applying. My hands feel so dang soft, it’s honestly quite surprising! I love hand creams, but I have a hard time finding some that don’t feel so greasy on my hands and this one did not feel that way. The topical lotion is the same way and it didn’t irritate my skin at all. Both products smell so good and leave my skin feeling soft, smooth and moisturized.

These products are all paraben free, gluten-free and plant-based and made with natural, NON-GMO ingredients.

For a premium skin care line, I would definitely keep using these. They are affordable too. The sample box is $148 for all four products and while doing my research on these, I read that they are now being carried in many spas and salons.

I am so glad hemp oil is being used in more skin care products. Hemp really is phenomenal, and I am so glad many companies are discovering this. Check out The Gold Q and buy on their website, you can also get a free topical cream with the purchase of the duo eye cream right now, visit their website for more details.
