CBD Lotion Review: Unscented, Lavender, Eucalyptus

If you aren’t familiar with CBD living, go here to see my first review and learn about the company. Let’s get right down to the lotion review!

Lotion

These lotions are available in unscented, lavender and eucalyptus. Each contains 250MG of CBD and have immediate bioavailability, which means you don’t have to wait for the CBD to take effect.

The skin

The largest organ of the body is the skin and it’s not just there to keep everything inside! The skin is our protector from many things such as pollution, viruses and infections. Furthermore, the skin does absorb some things we put on it. When CBD is applied topically, it gives a faster effect than a sublingual form because the skin absorbs it so quickly. Therefore, some CBD topicals can take as little as 5 minutes to feel effects whereas a tincture may take up to 40 minutes because it needs to reach the bloodstream. Also, bioavailability depends on the method of CBD taken and how long it takes to reach the bloodstream.

CBD Living Lotions

These lotions come in 16oz bottles for $40 each and are made with skin loving ingredients such as aloe, jojoba oil, grape seed oil and more.  Some may think that $40 seems pricey, but a little goes a long way with these lotions and they are packed with 250MG of CBD.

They smell like the soaps previously reviewed here. The lavender lotion smelled more floral and may appeal to anyone who likes a relaxing, floral lotion. The eucalyptus is very subtle and not a strong eucalyptus scent.  This scent is very light as well as having an invigorating feeling on the skin. The unscented is a favorite due to the fact that it’s easy to add essential oils to unscented lotions. Also, scented lotions may not appeal to all people. My mother is really sensitive to fragrance and she tried this lotion and liked it quite a bit because it didn’t bother her at all.

After using the lotion all over, right after a shower, it made my skin very soft. As a result, I feel less sore all over after using it. It goes on smooth, doesn’t feel sticky or greasy and dries quickly. My skin doesn’t feel overly dry and tight but moisturized just enough to feel relief. With my sensitive skin, the unscented lotion was a perfect option for me.

Conclusion

I recommend these lotions if you are looking for a topical solution that you can use in targeted places on the body or for all over relief.

Check them out here and I would love to hear your thoughts if you’ve tried them!
