Review of Blue Moon Hemp CBD Tincture, E-Juice, Gummies and Salve

Well, I am ready to let you guys know about another great CBD company and this one I am pretty impressed with.

I was able to try several products from Blue Moon Hemp and am quite excited about their CBD products. They have a wide variety of products to choose from and I got the chance to try vape oils, cbd oils, gummies and salves.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to see my other reviews, go HERE to the main page to check them out and as always, I’ve got great stuff coming your way, so I can give you the best CBD info and reviews, making it easy to choose the right product for you.

Let’s get right to the good stuff!

So, Blue Moon Hemp was established in 2015 and they strive to make quality CBD products at affordable prices without omitting any of the amazing properties of CBD. Something I love about this company is their range of products and CBD amount within their products. If you’ve done some looking around at companies, you may find that some offer a few products in a few CBD mg ranges and even the lowest range may be a bit pricey. With only a few MG ranges available, it really gives the customer no choice but to buy form them, but when a company can make a variety of products with a variety of MG ranges, then it not only gives the customer multiple choices, but also lets them start low so they can find out what MG is effective for them. I think this is really important, because not everyone will need the same amount or even like the same product. Blue Moon Hemp has 3 different flavors of CBD tincture, 5 different Vape flavors and 3 different salve scents to choose from as well and they offer a natural flavor/scent (unflavored/unscented) these three products as well.

The tinctures I tried were Tru Blue Peppermint and Tru Blu Berry in 250MG.

Ingredients: cold pressed virgin hempseed oil, cbd, natural flavors.

They are both really good in flavor. The berry is the best fruit flavored I’ve tried so far. Really easy to take, tastes good and no artificial aftertaste. The same with the peppermint. It’s a true, genuine peppermint taste. Not too strong and easy to swallow. I felt that these were really effective too. I usually take a bit higher MG, but I felt these at the 250 range were fine.  A quote from their site would sum it up perfectly.

“A 30ml blend of Organic Cold Pressed Hemp Oil with 250mg of CBD. Our Nano-Technology and high-speed emulsion methods create a micro-encapsulation of the molecules which results in greater bio-availability. The end result is more efficiency and better absorption leading to an increased effect. We are certain you will find this to be the strongest and most satisfying tincture you have ever used.”

I feel I agree. It was effective, tasty and easy to take and at $39 for a 30ml bottle of the 250 MG, I feel this is actually quite affordable.  To be completely honest, I have nothing bad to say about these tinctures. They have tinctures that range from 100mg to 2000mg and prices from $19 for the 100mg to $189 for the 2000mg so there’s definitely an option for everyone. $19 is super affordable for an effective CBD tincture.

The vapes I tried are Flan and Red Devil. The Flan is a caramel, crème brûlée taste and I used it alone and mixed with regular vape juice to get an idea of how it blends, and it blends quite well with other dessert e-juices.

Ingredients: vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, cbd, natural flavors.

The Red Devil is a fruity CBD vape as described on their site “sinful blend of Strawberry and Vanilla with hints of Tangerine & Mango.” I did not enjoy this blend, but I also don’t prefer fruity vapes so that is a personal preference. It wasn’t bad, but It just wouldn’t be my first choice. I think you’d like it if you like fruity vapes though. The nice thing about their vapes is they contain no THC so no worries about failing drug testing. Now as always, any reputable company will have less than 0.3% THC as this naturally occurs in CBD and this low amount “should not” show up on drug testing, but there is no guarantee it won’t so sticking with a company that has no THC in their products is the way to go if you are concerned.

Both of these vapes blended well into other flavors and were fine on their own. Easy to vape and I used them in regular vape pens, both fillable vape pens with glass tanks and refillable cartridge type pens.

The e-juices range from 100mg to 1000mg with the 100mg at $29 and the 1000mg at $129. They even have sampler packs, so you can try all four flavors in your choice of mg ranges.

I love using vape because I can get my CBD throughout the day, but as I have explained in the past, I use several types of CBD. Tincture and vape are my preferred way to take CBD internally and then I also used topical forms like salves.

Blue Moon makes amazing salves called Crème Blu! I was excited to get their salves, but I didn’t expect anything different than others I’ve tried, and I was pleasantly surprised.

I was able to try the eucalyptus, limonene and natural. The ingredients as described on the site are “Emu Oil, Calendula, Grapeseed, Jojoba, Olive, Coconut and several terpenes.”

The eucalyptus is a nice, cool scent with a really smooth texture. It’s soft and silky and the scent is fresh and cooling, perfect for the chest or shoulders.

The limonene is my favorite. The fresh lemon scent is light and citrus and natural smelling. It’s not perfumed or strong, which I love.

The natural is something I thought my husband would love because he’s not into scented products and he uses this on his hands. It has no scent at all which I think is fantastic. Not everyone wants a scented product, and this seals the deal on that.

The lovely thing about these salves is that they aren’t greasy or oily on the skin. They sink into the skin, leaving it soft and really work. I’ve been using them every morning on my shoulders and I feel they work fast, helping with tense muscles and soreness from my chronic pain. I also feel that with the natural oils used in these, the salves start to melt onto the skin with your natural body heat, so you don’t have to use a lot to get the effects. A little goes a long way making it more cost effective too.

I have some favorite topical CBD products from other companies and this salve is in my top 3 for sure. I’ll be buying it again. A 1oz size is $25 and a 2oz size is $39 and a 4oz is $69

I did try gummies in the 4 pack at 10mg. These run about $9 for a pack and that’s a bit more affordable than some others I’ve seen as well. The gummies were tasty, no weird aftertaste and honestly tasted like regular gummy candy. They offer various mg packs and even have gummies with melatonin, so you can take them before bed for CBD and a tasty treat.

So, what do I have to say that is negative about this company? Nothing. Seriously, nothing. I really tried to find something to gripe about, but I just can’t, and I don’t see a reason to say something I don’t like if I like everything so far. I haven’t tried their pet products or shatter yet, but I wouldn’t be opposed to it based on the products I did try.

Let’s get on with the pros and cons!

Overall rating for Blue Moon Hemp is 5 leaves!

Pros: Tincture, Vape and Salve

  • Tincture: Easy to swallow, nice flavor, effective.
  • Vape: Blends well with other vapes, nice flavor alone, effective
  • Salve: Nice scents, effective, not oily or greasy, natural ingredients.
  • All around: Natural ingredients, low or no THC, affordable, wide variety of CBD mg to choose from; something for everyone, testing available on the website.

Cons: NOTHING!

One last thing to keep in mind. Not every product works the same for everyone, but I think its important to read reviews, testing and see what everyone else likes as well. I’m really happy to be able to review products honestly and see what works for me and let you all know, because I think honest reviews are important when you are not only trying health products but also spending hard earned money on them. Don’t just settle on the first company you find. Reach out to them with questions, research for your specific needs and make sure you find a product that works for you. Price is a big factor in choosing CBD because most products tend to be pricey, but keep in mind you are taking CBD for your health whether it’s anxiety or pain or any other condition, the effectiveness of the product and the company values should be at the top of your list on what company and product to go for.

They are having a sale right now so check that out and the vape sampler packs are on sale too! You can also get their products at

Fuggin Hemp as well.

Hope you are enjoying the reviews and stay tuned for more! I’ve got more to come and maybe even a giveaway too! Stay tuned!
