World Suicide Prevention Day, GoFundMe and Ending The Stigma

This week is suicide prevention week and today is World Suicide Prevention Day. If you know someone who has attempted and survived, had family or friends who have been lost due to suicide, or anyone who has struggled with thoughts of suicide, you may not know what to say and sometimes you may not have to say anything. An extra hug, a text of how much you love them and an open ear may be all they need. Always say prayers, whether you believe or not and understand if they are a bit distant or quiet, it’s not about you, they be mourning. Always know there is help and hope.

If you know someone is going to harm themselves, don’t be reluctant in getting them help. Post a a bead graphic on your page with the link below and let others know you support them and the cause. This hit home to me because I have been suicidal, even recently, but I know I will get help and stay strong through loved ones support and my faith.

If you would, please take a look at my #gofundme campaign. I could use prayers, shares and help. Thank you for your support with my blog and with me personally. The fact I am helping others is why I do this.
