Celebrities and Sleep

Celebs Really Do Things Differently

We all love celeb gossips, don’t we? Who’s dating who, who’s getting the leading role in the new blockbuster, and so on. We are a society that devours information about the celebs we look up to voraciously. But let’s face it, as much fun as gossip is, it does have a sell-by date.

How many times can you read rumors about who Britney Spears is dating, after all? Still, we’ll keep up with the gossip rags because they give us an insight into the lives of the rich and famous.

Is everything as fabulous as it seems, though? Sure, Donald Trump is extremely wealthy and now president of the United States, but he apparently only sleeps for a maximum of four hours a day.

That’s what you can find out in the infographic below about the sleep patterns of the rich and famous.

And if you think that Donald is unusual in this area, you’d be dead wrong. A lot of famous and successful people put sleep on the back burner to get more done in a day. However, don’t look up to them since sleep deprivation can have numerous adverse effects on our health.

Martha Stewart is another celeb that gets by on about four hours a day – maybe she loves crafting so much that she’s up all night. That’s something that we can relate to.

Of course, you need to make allowances for different personality types. Not everyone believes in getting so little sleep. In fact, some celebs take things to the opposite extreme. Popstar Mariah Carey is only awake for about nine hours a day.

Other habits are just plain weird. Jessica Simpson, for example, believes that she can’t fall asleep in her bed. If she tries, she can’t nod off. Unlike most of us, Simpson is convinced that sleeping on the floor is the best way to get a peaceful night’s sleep.

But don’t take our word for it, why not check out the infographic for yourself and see what cool facts you can learn about celebs. And don’t forget to let us know which habit you found most strange.
