Art Naturals Bluetooth Diffuser and Oils Review! BIG SAVINGS

artnaturals Essential Oils

I was really hoping to do the entire diffuser and oil review on video, but due to some technical difficulties, I didn’t get the entire thing on video so I do have part of it and the rest will be here.

I do apologize for the way I look in this video! I am usually less disheveled, but this week was tough and I’m human and sometimes don’t look my best, so bear with me. The video is below, so please watch and read my review as well.

Enjoy!

I contacted Art Naturals to see if I could do a review of some essential oils and they were gracious enough to send me not only their top 8 oils, but their new Bluetooth diffuser and let me tell you, this thing is awesome!

I was so excited to get the box, it was like Christmas opening it. I honestly didn’t expect much and I was absolutely pleasantly surprised in what I got.

Starting out, I got the top 8 oils which are lavender, peppermint, rosemary, frankincense, sweet orange, tea tree, lemongrass, and eucalyptus.

I also got their beautiful diffuser. It is a 400ml diffuser with a wood grain finish and it really is stunning. It doesn’t have the typical plastic diffuser look to it and it’s not an eye-sore like some I have seen in the past. With a flat bottom and a round shape, it almost looks like art and that means I don’t have to take it down anytime I want to have guests over!

So, at first, I was confused getting it to work and the fact the directions are just one pamphlet, I got nervous, but that quickly resolved. The directions are one pamphlet because it’s super easy to use and straight forward.

As you can see from the front, there are two buttons on each side of the clock and then two below the clock display. The AC adapter that comes with it is my favorite type. (yes, I’m a nerd, I love certain AC adapters!) The reason why is that when it plugs in, it lays nice and flat against the surface and doesn’t stick out the back, so I can push it flush up against a wall and not worry about that wire sticking out.

One thing to keep in mind every time you fill it is to be sure you plug the adapter cord into the diffuser first! Keep it unplugged from the wall, but make sure you plug it into the bottom before filling with water. ( I didn’t do this the first time and had a balancing act going while trying to make sure the water didn’t spill out!)

Simply place it on a flat surface and make sure the cord underneath is turned the right now so it’s nice and flat. Then fill with water. I use distilled or filtered water and it helps not only your diffusers (no matter which brand), but also your EO’s last longer.

There is an easy to read MAX fill line there that tells you where to stop filling your water. You add several drops, 5-6, of the essential oil and put the top back on.

The top does not lock on, but as I used it more and more, I realized that it’s quite a sturdy little diffuser and isn’t going to knock over easy. It’s short and round and that makes it less able to be knocked over. Now keep in mind, I am worried about my animals knocking over my diffusers, I am sure little human hands could do some damage so use your best judgement on where you place the diffuser.

At this time, plug in your diffuser. You’ll hear a melody and it will signify that the diffuser is plugged in and ready to use.

The left button, next to the clock display, is for the LED light and the right button is for mist. Just press the MIST button. You will see where it is labeled ON 1HR 3HR 6HR.

Once you press MIST, the little green light under ON will turn on and your mist should be working. You can toggle between keeping it on continuously or choose to run it for an hour, 3 hours, or 6 hours.

Let me tell you why I love this feature-for some people, kids included, it’s not recommended to run a diffuser more than an hour at a time, with a break in between. If you are using the diffuser in a child’s room, for example, you can run it for an hour with this selection and it will automatically turn off. The same with the 3 hour and 6 hour choices. This is nice because I do like to fall asleep with my diffuser, but since I have animals, I don’t want to subject them to hours and hours of diffusing so having it turn off after an hour is great. The same for the 3 and 6 hour, especially if I just want to run it while guests are over and maybe just for a few hours of diffusion. I typically use the continuous diffusion for adding some moisture to the air with no essential oils, but this is just my personal preference.

To get the LED lights on, you have three choices-Press the light button and the light will change to 7 different lights. They are nice and soft lights and change really gradually. You press it again and you get one fixed light of red. You press it again to turn it off, while the mist keeps running.

You can also use the light without the mist setting too!

Now to the fun part! The Bluetooth setting! This is so awesomely cool, I kept using it every single time I diffused.

If you have a smart phone with a Bluetooth feature, this should work. I used the diffuser with my iPhone and it has this setting. Go to SETTINGS on your phone and look for ARTNATURALS under the list. It should pop up and when it does, just select it. You will hear a little melody, this melody states it’s connected to Bluetooth. Now, simply select music from your phone and hit play and it will start playing through your diffuser! Use the left and right buttons to adjust volume.

The clock will be set in the traditional way any digital clock is set, by using the buttons underneath the display. You can even set an alarm and I did do that. Now this particular alarm ring is not loud in my opinion, but I am one of those people with 7 alarms on my phone just to wake me up, so this diffuser alarm may work fine for you.

The clock display is a nice, blue light which is recommended during sleep as the traditional, old style red displays can disturb your sleep or prevent you from falling asleep.

Another thing I love is that the little green button, signifying the device is plugged in, is not super bright! Finally! My current diffuser, which I have had for years and years, is so bright when it’s on, I have to cover the light with tape and this diffuser I didn’t have to do that!

I also left it on, with the lights, as I went to bed to see if they bothered me, and they did not at all! They are softer than my current diffuser and produce a nice glow.

So why a Bluetooth diffuser? Why would someone need this? Well, here’s why in my opinion.

If you have a child or a loved one who needs diffusion and some music to calm down at night, this is a great choice…but do you want music playing all night? Maybe not, so simply sync it with your phone, then when that person is asleep, you can easily turn the music off or change it without going into the room and disturbing them and I can see that being a great help for a mom or dad with a cranky child who can’t sleep or even for someone who is an ultra-light sleeper, but needs a little music to get into that initial slumber.

I stood away from the diffuser, not completely out of the room, but far enough where the diffuser was across the room and I was at the door and tried to turn off the music and/or change the song, it worked wonderfully! You can also manage the volume from your phone, but keep in mind, this is the phone feature so it’s like if you had your phone plugged into your car Bluetooth or your computer.

When the diffuser is going to turn off, it beeps very lightly so that you know it is done diffusing and not loudly enough to wake someone up either.

Okay, so now that I reviewed the diffuser, you might be wondering about the oils?
I left them for last because they are simply amazing oils. I can tell just by smelling them, they are great quality. Also, the website has detailed information on each oil including the plant name, what part of the plant is used to make the oil, what the distraction method is and how it is best used. This, in itself, is a good example of a quality oil company.

I have stressed this point time and time again on my blog and my Facebook groups, that if my readers see an oil that just says TEA TREE Oil and nothing else or it says FRAGRANCE or PARFUM in its ingredients that it might be synthetic and these oils had NONE of that.

Another thing I love about the oils is that the top 8 includes rosemary and frankincense and these essential oils are, in my opinion, a necessary part of any good essential oil kit.

These oils came in dark, well sealed bottles and gently packaged in a foam box so there was no chance of breakage or leakage and the dark bottles keep the oils from being damaged to UV lights or shipping hazards.

The website also lists cautions, such as ingestion, and uses. They come with a little booklet of DIY recipes, there is also testing information and a blog on their site and each item has an extensive description of the item and its ingredients/usage.

ArtNaturals® Essential Oils Collection

Okay, so is there anything I don’t like about it? Yes. I hate to say it, but yes. As always, I pride myself on truthful information when reviewing. I am never going to give a product a pass with flying colors unless I really think there’s nothing to change and with these products, there is not much I don’t like about this and honestly, it’s crazy to think that you get a product that you love every single feature on it, no matter what you buy, there may be something you don’t prefer that someone else loves, so keep that in mind.

So, what didn’t I like?
–The buttons are hard to read and I wish there were more than one fixed color in LED lights.

Yup, that’s it. If I could change one thing, I would make the buttons much easier to read. Now, after a lot of use, I have memorized the buttons function, so this can be resolved, but I know it can be frustrating for some, especially at first use so I do hope that the company takes this into consideration.

Also, one thing I love about my current diffuser is that the lights can be continuously changing or have one fixed color out of 7 choices. This diffuser seems to have one fixed color in red. I don’t mind it, it’s a nice red, but I prefer blue or purple colors and this is also something I would change if I could.

So, take a look at my PRO/CON list that I like to include when I review products.

Pros:
Beautiful, wood finish.
Easy to use.
Nice size.
Large water reservoir.
Flat cord that is hidden underneath.
Bluetooth music feature.
Beeps when done diffusing.
Shuts off automatically.
Lovely changing LED light feature.
1, 3, 6-hour diffusion time choices.
Not easily knocked over.
Clock with alarm.
Easy to read display.

Cons:
The buttons are hard to read.

While some may love that the buttons don’t stand out, some others may prefer an easier to read button. The same with the light, so this does not mean I recommend you don’t buy it, but now you have an informed article so you can make an informed choice.

I love doing product reviews because it not only helps me become more knowledgeable and familiar with companies and their products, but I feel I am helping my readers make informed decisions before they buy. When I use products, I do reviews so that you, as a reader, know what you are buying before you buy it. Call me your natural health guinea pig! I am happy to do reviews on just about anything and everything that I find to be safe and effective products.

So, how many oil bottles do I give these products?

5 oil bottles! Why? Because the cons of the product would not inhibit me buying the product.
If I had not received the product as a review, but knew about these features prior, I would absolutely buy it for myself and my family.

If you visit the website, artnaturals.com, you can get the diffuser and the top 8 oils for 49.99! Pretty awesome deal!
